Key Responsibilities

  • •Use industry-leading computer software while supporting bridge-related expertise including structural design and bridge assessment.
  • •Contribute to the assessment of existing structures through on-site inspection and analysis across project stages.
  • •Support structures renewal feasibility studies and structural inspections as part of bridge-specific projects.
  • •Assist with scheme management, including managing tasks and resources for structures schemes.
  • •Contribute to on-site works supervision and work on projects from inception to completion, increasing responsibility over time.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above.
  • •MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering would be an advantage.
  • •Ability to demonstrate a good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering and a demonstrable interest in Bridge Structures Engineering.
  • •Willing and able to work towards chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institute of Structural Engineers (ISructE).
  • •Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
