Key Responsibilities

  • •Support geospatial surveying and data capture activities such as topographical, GNSS, laser scanning, mobile mapping, and UAV surveys.
  • •Assist with processing, quality assurance, and delivery of spatial datasets.
  • •Learn and use industry-standard geospatial software, mapping tools, and digital engineering systems.
  • •Create models, drawings, visualisations, and geospatial outputs for internal and external clients.
  • •Participate in site visits, inspections, and field data collection across infrastructure sectors while working with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Have at least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above, including Maths, English, and a science subject.
  • •Have three A-Levels (or equivalent) at grade B or above, preferably including a science subject such as Geology, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, or Maths (required for a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship).
  • •Demonstrate a genuine interest in surveying, mapping, geospatial technologies, digital engineering, infrastructure, or site survey/investigation work.
  • •Have some experience, work shadowing, or exposure to surveying, geography, construction, engineering, environmental, or technology-related activities (preferred).
  • •Hold a full UK driving licence (for manual vehicles) and show strong attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
