Job Summary

Build and advance measurement for a safe, trustworthy TikTok Shop experience by defining core Governance & Experience metrics, developing dashboards and reports, and uncovering risks and opportunities in marketplace health. Use advanced causal inference, experimentation, and product analytics to solve ambiguous business and user problems. Partner with stakeholders to optimize overall measurement strategy and design, including rigorous A/B testing and complex experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

•Understand ambiguous business, product, and user problems for Governance & Experience and apply advanced scientific techniques to find solutions.
•Identify key trends, patterns, and opportunities to increase e-commerce data product adoption, engagement, and incremental impact.
•Conduct A/B testing and complex experimentation, including bilateral and network-effect style experiments.
•Partner closely with key stakeholders to optimize overall measurement strategy and experiment design.
•Drive measurement insights by analyzing data to surface risks and opportunities and supporting decision-making through dashboards and reports.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Analytics.
•At least 3 years of Data Science experience in causal inference, experimentation, product analytics, machine learning, and statistics.
•Proficiency in SQL & Python or R.
•Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in related fields (preferred).
•Strong communication and business-oriented mindset with curiosity and self-driving approach (preferred).
