Key Responsibilities

  • •Own OTA and kiosk fleet lifecycle: build, sign, roll out, roll back, and manage per-device configuration and update/recovery mechanisms for in-field Linux devices.
  • •Own CI/CD and release promotion across cloud and device software: test-gated promotion, controlled approvals, and auditable deployment control plane.
  • •Set and maintain the platform quality bar: observability, alerting, reliability, backup/recovery, auditability, and security controls with tooling that makes the safe path default.
  • •Operate and evolve AWS and Terraform infrastructure foundations supporting production systems across engineering teams.
  • •Automate regulatory and compliance needs into tooling tied to delivery, including traceability, SBOM, artifact signing, audit trails, and device/pipeline security.
  • •Install developer self-service golden paths so engineers can deploy independently, and serve as technical advisor for complex build/deployment issues.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering in AWS with staff-level ownership of production CI/CD and release systems for distributed sensitive-data systems, plus strong general software engineering in a modern language (Python or Go).
  • •Experience operating Linux-based systems and fleets of networked/IoT devices, including OTA update strategies.
  • •Demonstrated ownership of CI/CD and release/promotion systems with test gating, approvals, and reversible deployments.
  • •Deep expertise in Terraform/Terragrunt and infrastructure tooling, plus containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS/Fargate and/or Kubernetes).
  • •Experience building observability and operating production reliability tooling (Datadog/CloudWatch) with monitoring and alerting.
