Job Summary

Perform electrical installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting for machinery, equipment, and fixtures to keep operations running with minimal downtime. Respond to breakdowns across LV-MV motors, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, UPS, VFDs, and related systems, and execute planned preventive and predictive maintenance. Diagnose failures with minimal supervision, manage spare parts and maintenance records in SAP, support EHS and performance initiatives, and assist other departments.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Attend to electrical equipment breakdowns including LV-MV motors, LV switchboards, MCCs, plant lighting, transformers, UPS, VFDs, breakers, and soft starters.
•Perform planned, preventive, and predictive maintenance with minimum direction and supervision.
•Identify and report abnormalities; repair, replace, re-assemble, test equipment, and keep the work area clean.
•Diagnose electrical breakdowns/failures and troubleshoot plant and equipment electrical systems.
•Use SAP to order spare parts and maintain records of completed maintenance work while ensuring compliance with safety procedures and plant operational requirements.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in a relevant field.
•Completion of PEC Craft Training.
•3 years of relevant experience in a heavy industry after diploma (or no experience required after PEC Training).
•Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
•Familiarity with maintenance tools, good IT knowledge, and ability to read and understand engineering drawings/manuals/instructions.
