Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the end-to-end customs clearance process for import shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • •Review shipping documents for accuracy and compliance, and lead brokerage compliance activities with regulatory agencies (MITI, MIDA, SIRIM, Customs).
  • •Plan import logistics schedules, coordinate delivery and pick-up arrangements with shunting transporters, and ensure timely, specification-compliant delivery.
  • •Handle materials purchasing management in SAP, including creating requisitions, issuing approved purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and transferring documents to Finance.
  • •Manage trade regulatory compliance and exemptions (origin certifications, MIDA certifications, SST exemption applications), maintain import records, and monitor customs/trade policy changes while reporting and driving corrective actions via KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or a related field.
  • •5 years of experience in the import-export process.
  • •Strong knowledge of total logistics, supply chain, and customs requirements.
  • •Experience in customs brokerage and customs clearance management.
  • •Experience with SAP is a plus, plus excellent oral and written communication skills.
