Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate range workstations including AAR, range target and instrumentation.
  • •Conduct PMCS of non-IT DRTS equipment and assist Tech III with repairs as needed.
  • •Apply standard operating/corrective procedures in response to computer output instructions or error conditions, escalating issues requiring further troubleshooting to the Team Lead.
  • •Install and deinstall player units and DRTS equipment on proper military vehicles; construct and install target frames; repair and replenish damaged targets.
  • •Reestablish and monitor communications between down range equipment and DRTS systems during events; open work orders in the MIS program and complete equipment inspection and inventory before/after live-fire training.

Key Requirements

  • •AA/AS or 2+ years of related experience supporting Army DRTS equipment/ranges, with military experience preferred.
  • •Technical expertise in ranges systems, equipment, and range maintenance for non-IT DRTS equipment.
  • •Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security practices.
  • •US Citizenship required.
  • •Ability to wear PPE and lift up to 50 lbs; obtain/maintain a valid CDL Class C driver’s license.
