Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate autoclaves and curing ovens to cure composite parts, including setting up programs, monitoring data, and ending operation cycles.
  • •Load autoclaves using pump carts, lift layup molds onto stands/carts, and operate pallet jacks for safe tool loading/unloading.
  • •Demold parts after cure using hammers, wedges, and compressed air; disassemble/assemble layup molds and clean tooling.
  • •Maintain equipment and manufacturing readiness, including vacuum hoses/valves, thermocouples, and daily monitoring of mold condition and repair timing.
  • •Ensure health and safety and quality standards (including traceability paperwork accuracy, vacuum integrity checks, data reports for QA, troubleshooting/escalation, and 5S/FOD).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Depth of knowledge of the technical field.
  • •Knowledge of quality requirements and how to meet quality standards.
  • •Experience in aerospace industry preferred.
  • •Ability to read blueprint and use measuring instruments, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
