Job Summary

Lead daily operations for portable concrete plant sites, overseeing production, quality control, materials and inventory, equipment performance, and customer service. Manage safety and compliance (including OSHA and environmental requirements) while coordinating logistics and dispatch for on-time delivery. Provide leadership and supervise plant personnel to support efficient, safe, and cost-effective concrete production across assigned locations in Texas and Northern Louisiana, with extensive overnight travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Promote safety and compliance by identifying hazards, implementing vehicle traffic plans, conducting site-specific training, and enforcing OSHA and environmental requirements.
•Oversee daily concrete batching, mixing, and scheduling to meet customer demand, production targets, and project timelines.
•Monitor quality by managing material moisture, slump, air content, and mix consistency to meet specifications.
•Coordinate logistics and dispatch with dispatchers, aggregate suppliers, and commercial drivers to support efficient, on-time delivery.
•Recruit, train, supervise, and develop plant personnel, while coordinating preventive maintenance and inventory control to maximize reliability and minimize waste.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in concrete plant operations, construction materials, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
•At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading field personnel, equipment operators, or commercial drivers.
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration strongly preferred (or equivalent experience).
•Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to troubleshoot equipment issues.
•Certifications from ACI (e.g., ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician) and NRMCA strongly preferred; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
