Job Summary

Lead maintenance teams in the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical plant equipment, facilities, utilities, and the powerhouse. Oversee scheduling with Production, drive troubleshooting and equipment-failure resolution, and develop maintenance systems using TPM, SOPs, and safety procedures. Build KPI reporting for maintenance performance and ensure USDA compliance with accurate records and inventory. Provide leadership and continuity when key personnel are absent.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance and machine repairs, including training on safe work methods.
•Plan and schedule maintenance in collaboration with Production, and develop maintenance systems including prevention/predictive maintenance, TPM, and SOPs.
•Provide day-to-day troubleshooting, problem analysis, and solutions for equipment failures.
•Develop and maintain KPIs and provide regular maintenance status reports to the maintenance management team.
•Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations; maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory, and assume continuity responsibilities when key personnel are absent.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Experience acting as a lead by providing training, coaching, or mentoring, or managing a process or project.
•Ability to lead problem solving and troubleshooting efforts for high-level process issues.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
