Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor plant systems and equipment continuously, responding to alarms with appropriate corrective actions.
  • •Operate the plant safely and efficiently, including startup/shutdown and emergency operations to maintain electric service.
  • •Perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of equipment related to an electrical generation facility, including preventive/scheduled/corrective maintenance.
  • •Maintain accurate equipment/operational logs, readings, records, and reports; enter operating log items and approve/issue tag outs as required.
  • •Operate station vehicles and provide direction to auxiliary plant operators and, when needed, maintenance personnel regarding plant operations and troubleshooting.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •2+ years’ experience in plant operations or a related field.
  • •Valid Driver’s License and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
