Job Summary

Own the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Wallet—Airbnb’s financial hub for guests. Build the core experience spanning payment method management, credits and stored value visibility, and personalized financial communication. Drive engagement during and between trips, partner with Payments and Checkout to reduce booking friction, and use A/B experiments and data-driven iteration to improve conversion and outcomes while collaborating across Engineering, Design, Analytics, Finance, Trust & Safety, and Legal.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead Wallet’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap, defining a trusted financial home for guests.
•Build core Wallet capabilities including payment method management, spending power visibility (credits, stored value, refunds), and personalized financial communication.
•Drive engagement on Wallet surfaces during and between trips to make the product revisitable and valuable.
•Partner with Payments Engineering to expand payment methods and financial capabilities across global markets and integrate with Checkout to reduce booking friction.
•Run A/B experiments to optimize conversion and engagement; set OKRs and align cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Design, Finance, Legal, and Payments.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of product management experience building consumer-facing wallet, stored value, or digital financial products.
•Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including card networks, digital wallets, BNPL/installments, local payment methods, and emerging payment rails.
•Experience shipping payment method expansions or new payment capabilities at consumer scale.
•Demonstrated success improving checkout or transaction conversion through experimentation and data-driven iteration.
•Strong design sensibility with experience partnering closely with design teams to deliver trustworthy, personalized financial UX.
