Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide guidance on collecting, compiling, and analyzing data for site work and design deliverables, aligned to IEEE, NESC, ANSI, NCEC, and NERC standards.
  • •Coordinate, review, and approve electrical infrastructure design plans for smaller and less-complex projects while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  • •Perform complex electrical engineering design work including single-line/three-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, substation layouts, grounding grid design, and lightning protection.
  • •Develop and review plans, specifications, cost estimates, construction safety and phasing plans, and update electrical infrastructure layout plans with multi-party coordination.
  • •Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams across concurrent projects, including budgets, tracking, permit applications, compliance documentation, and technical analysis memos.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience designing electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution capital projects.
  • •Engineer license required.
  • •Proficiency with electrical engineering principles, design/build practices, and application to permitting and project issues.
  • •Extensive knowledge of infrastructure design and relevant engineering laws, codes, regulations, and compliance record-keeping requirements.
