Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and operate reusable backend services that provide client data/permissions as a source of truth and expose clean APIs.
  • •Lead migrations retiring legacy integrations and serving data directly from purpose-built services with clear boundaries.
  • •Move domain logic (e.g., Lending, Underwriting, Trade Finance workflows) out of Salesforce configuration into purpose-built platforms.
  • •Implement production AI for automated chat responses and deterministic workflow triggers using LLMs, and help orchestrate workflows with Temporal.
  • •Own development and maintenance end-to-end, including monitoring/alerting/observability, robust testing, CI/CD, and infrastructure managed with Terraform.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years backend software engineering (Senior) / 7+ years with cross-domain architectural impact (Staff), with distributed-systems and cloud-native depth.
  • •Strong backend depth in production services: data modeling, API design, async patterns, idempotency, and failure modes in microservices.
  • •Source-of-truth and data-contract systems design, including synchronous vs asynchronous trade-offs and consistency.
  • •Experience integrating LLMs into production or readiness to apply RAG, prompt engineering, and model evaluation within strict data-access boundaries.
  • •Fintech/financial services experience and strong communication skills (including RFCs) across teams.
