Job Summary

Support the HSES discipline by working with HSES Specialists/Supervisors to plan, implement, and coordinate HSES programs that prevent or correct hazardous conditions. Provide HSE leadership to field personnel, ensure HSE policies and procedures are understood and followed, conduct area inspections to identify unsafe acts/conditions, and assist with incident investigations and reporting. Monitor lifesaving/firefighting equipment and support emergency response and medivacs.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide HSE leadership to field personnel and set standards of behavior.
•Apply and help ensure company HSE policies, procedures, and regulations are implemented consistently and understood by employees.
•Regularly inspect work areas for unsafe acts and conditions; advise line management on issues that cannot be immediately corrected.
•Assist with incident investigations and compile reports.
•Monitor lifesaving and firefighting equipment and assist with medivacs and emergency response promptly.

Key Requirements

•Degree or Diploma (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field.
•3 years of relevant experience.
•Maintain key competencies associated with the HSES function.
•Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
•Be conversant with local and international HSES laws, codes, regulations, and norms.
