Job Summary

Build and grow consumer and business customer relationships in a branch banking environment by proactively identifying goals and recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products. Deliver excellent customer service, resolve customer issues, and use a disciplined sales process with appointments, referrals, and follow-up. Educate customers on optimizing online, mobile, and ATM banking while staying current on products, technology, and policies and meeting all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
•Proactively grow customer relationships using pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, follow-up, and referrals from customers, colleagues, and partners.
•Educate and refer customers to other bank areas to deepen relationships and strengthen internal partnerships.
•Educate customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
•Maintain knowledge of products, services, technology, and policies while adhering to operational, security, risk, and regulatory procedures.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year of customer service and sales in banking/financial services or goal-driven retail sales, or business-to-business sales experience (or military service in a related role).
•Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and 1 year or more in customer service and sales in banking/financial services or goal-driven retail sales, or B2B sales experience.
•Ability to build, deepen, and retain customer relationships.
•Demonstrates acumen in banking and sales, including investments, consumer lending, and business/customer banking and lending.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with mobile and online banking technology.
