Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain accounting models and accruals, including marketing accrual engineering and posting journal entries with an audit trail.
  • •Own logistics cost modeling (carrier costs, freight, customs, duty, and tariff) tied to shipment volumes and accruals.
  • •Own inventory accounting including inventory costing, valuation, and reconciliation with the inventory sub-ledger tied to the GL.
  • •Run lease accounting (ASC 842) and revenue recognition (ASC 606) schedules, accruals, roll-forwards, modifications/disclosures, and contract review.
  • •Handle investment accounting (ASC 320/ASC 321) and European subsidiary controllership, including actuals-to-forecast comparison and FP&A business partnering.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience.
  • •Strong conceptual grip on accruals, controls, and US GAAP, with exposure to lease, revenue recognition, or investment accounting a plus.
  • •Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and multi-entity accounting.
  • •Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, system-generated datasets.
  • •Working knowledge of NetSuite preferred; familiarity with Coupa, Numeric, or Brex is a strong plus.
