Job Summary

Support the Risk Control Oversight Office (RCOO) by executing controls testing to help businesses design and embed a robust control framework. Assist the RCOO Senior Manager and lead reviewers evaluating control design and operating effectiveness, escalating issues promptly. Lead remediation for control gaps and weaknesses across Mexico across non-financial and financial risks, including operational resilience, model risk, credit risks, insurance risk, financial crime risk, and regulatory compliance risk.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the Risk and Control Oversight Office Senior Manager in implementing the controls testing program.
•Support lead reviewers in evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
•Escalate concerns about control effectiveness promptly to line manager and senior management.
•Lead remediation activities for gaps and control weaknesses affecting business and functions.
•Scope and execute controls testing across non-financial and financial risks within Mexico, including operational and resilience, model risk, credit risks, insurance risk, financial crime risk, and regulatory compliance risk.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 2 years of proven experience in assurance, audit, compliance, or risk management in financial services or other major industries.
•Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business, finance, or law, or equivalent experience.
•A good understanding of risk management and associated business processes.
•Ability to question, evaluate, and improve existing business processes and the adequacy of information.
•Knowledge of banking and significant compliance requirements, with strong communication and presentation skills.
