Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Assemble and disassemble mechanical and optical sub-assemblies under supervision, including mounting of optical elements and installation on optical benches; perform basic troubleshooting of EO systems (power supplies, optics, control units) per procedures.
  • •Alignment & Testing: Operate standard alignment and test equipment (autocollimators, interferometers, beam profilers, spectrophotometers); assist in alignment of optical components to meet performance requirements; support final testing and validation prior to release.
  • •Documentation: Record maintenance activities, test results, equipment usage, and assembly records; maintain Job Cards, test logs and work instructions.
  • •Safety & Compliance: Follow safety procedures, cleanroom standards, and contamination control; ensure optics and mechanical parts are handled, stored, and cleaned per procedures.
  • •Collaboration: Work with Senior Technicians and engineers across mechanical, electrical, and thermal teams; participate in continuous improvement and communicate technical issues clearly.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or College graduate in Electronics, Optics, Mechanical, or related field.
  • •Basic understanding of EO systems or optical components (training will be provided).
  • •Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • •Advanced English level.
  • •Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
