Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead day-to-day operations of the geotechnical laboratory, ensuring accurate, efficient, and high-quality testing and reporting
  • •Drive continuous improvement and growth of laboratory capabilities and service offerings
  • •Manage projects from proposal through completion, including budgets, schedules, and client relationships
  • •Review and validate geotechnical test data and field reports to ensure compliance with industry and client standards
  • •Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • •8–10 years of geotechnical materials testing experience with demonstrated leadership and project management
  • •Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and CSA testing standards and procedures
  • •Valid Canadian driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract; ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in physically demanding environments
  • •CCIL certifications and safety training (First Aid, WHMIS, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance) considered assets
