Key Responsibilities

•Lead day-to-day operations of the geotechnical laboratory, ensuring accurate, efficient, and high-quality testing and reporting
•Drive continuous improvement and growth of laboratory capabilities and service offerings
•Manage projects from proposal through completion, including budgets, schedules, and client relationships
•Review and validate geotechnical test data and field reports to ensure compliance with industry and client standards
•Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

Key Requirements

•Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
•8–10 years of geotechnical materials testing experience with demonstrated leadership and project management
•Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and CSA testing standards and procedures
•Valid Canadian driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract; ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in physically demanding environments
•CCIL certifications and safety training (First Aid, WHMIS, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance) considered assets
