Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to a range of maintenance and repair activities and rapid interventions on location and aboard Belgian and Dutch naval ships.
  • •Work in the electronics department at the Zeebrugge naval base, performing maintenance and interventions on equipment including mine detection devices, navigation systems, and communication systems.
  • •Assist in maintenance and calibration of measurement instruments and ICT equipment aboard vessels, and support Electromechanics and Electricité departments as needed.
  • •Learn step-by-step during onboarding how to perform different maintenance activities, progressively taking more responsibility and working independently or in a team.
  • •Commit to continuous training to be prepared for new equipment on future minehunters and drone applications, while maintaining safe work practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Basisdiploma TSO (A2) or Bachelor in electronics/ICT or equivalent by experience
