Job Summary

Lead the Southwest Wheel and Brake Service Center in Santa Fe Springs, driving efficient execution of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. As an accountable people and quality leader for ~80 employees and 6–8 direct reports, you’ll oversee compliance to FAA/customer requirements, manage budgets and margin targets, set delivery/performance objectives, and champion long-term operational strategy, continuous improvement, and EH&S safety.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, direct, and oversee MRO operations and processes with a hands-on leadership style rooted in RTX/One Collins values.
•Ensure product quality and shipping/orders compliance with FAA and other regulatory/customer requirements; maintain an audit-ready environment.
•Develop the annual service center budget and manage labor and material costs to minimize variances and meet margin plan targets.
•Set and maintain delivery, quality, and performance objectives to meet/exceed on-time delivery and delivered quality expectations.
•Own long-term operational strategy, including cost reduction, capital investment, digital solutions, and succession/talent growth plans.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree with minimum 12 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 10 years of experience.
•Minimum 4 years of management/supervisory experience.
•Aerospace industry experience and/or overhaul and repair environment experience.
•Experience leading leaders and building high-performing teams.
•Knowledge of FAA regulations and/or experience with regulatory bodies.
