Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver teaching and assessment, including planning and reviewing teaching approaches and designing contemporary, inclusive curriculum content.
  • •Conduct and manage research: planning, publishing high-quality outputs, seeking financial support, and presenting findings in publications and conference proceedings.
  • •Supervise and mentor PhD students and/or Early Career Researchers, including supervision, marking, and examining as appropriate.
  • •Contribute to school management and administration, including research/teaching administration, working groups, and equality, diversity and inclusion monitoring and evaluation.
  • •Develop and support knowledge transfer, enterprise, business engagement, public engagement, and widening participation/schools outreach activities that enhance the student experience or employability.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 47,389 - 63,606 annually

  • •A PhD relevant to the research/teaching area (or near completion) or equivalent research experience qualifications.
  • •Extensive research and teaching experience and scholarship within the subject specialism.
