Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a founding member of the Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations team’s Technology and Engineering group, helping build a globally distributed security DevOps function.
  • •Help deploy, upgrade, and manage Sovereign Cloud non-production security infrastructure using disciplined, standardized security processes and tools.
  • •Lead development and automation of security solutions aligned with security strategy, including provision and support of security cloud services via Terraform.
  • •Maintain and expand a knowledge base of native hyperscaler capabilities and modern infrastructure management tools, and design global-scale security concepts.
  • •Coordinate with global Sovereign Cloud operations teams and hyperscaler provider partners to drive day-to-day operational decisions and security deployment trade-offs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • •7+ years of software development experience across all phases of the SDLC, including hands-on infrastructure, application, or database migration.
  • •Strong infrastructure and security engineering background, including firewalls, load balancers, storage, monitoring, security, IAM, and orchestration for cloud solutions.
  • •Working knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD tools, and Git; experience with Kubernetes environments is required.
  • •Ability to design security concepts and automate security solution development for Sovereign Cloud, while coordinating across global teams.
