  • •Review claims regularly in accordance with company policy, including adjusters’ files for coverage and adequate reserves, and provide counsel on next actions.
  • •Resolve coverage and other unusual questions within designated authority through related research as necessary.
  • •Handle claim complaints and inquiries; assist the Claims Manager and may act on the manager’s behalf.
  • •Receive and direct processing of legal papers served upon ERIE involving claims action; support trial procedures and serve on the Catastrophe Team with potential short-notice travel.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid driver’s license required, and appropriate state-required license(s) with ability to secure and maintain dual or multiple licenses as needed.
