Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the project and coordinate with the lead office to deliver drainage design work.
  • •Provide technical support to designers for asset relocation/shifting, asset tagging, connection drawings, and standard drawings.
  • •Mentor juniors and ensure quality checks on assigned work.
  • •Conduct hydraulic & hydrological modeling and design pumping stations, road/bridge crossings, and associated drainage structures.
  • •Perform clash analysis using Navisworks and work within Common Data Environment tools (ProjectWise, BIM 360, ACC).

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years experience with hydraulic & hydrological design of storm water drainage systems for highway drainage, track drainage, site drainage, sub-stations, and urban drainage.
  • •Hands-on experience with gully spacing calculations and SuDS design, including attenuation basins, flow control devices, pumping stations, and flood risk assessment.
  • •Experience designing pumping stations, general arrangement, road/bridge crossing structures, and typical valve chambers.
  • •Proficiency with hydraulic & hydrological modeling tools such as InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, PCSWMM, TuFlow, Causeway Flow, Sewer GEMS/Infoworks ICM, HEC-RAS, or Open Road Designer.
  • •Strong experience with DMRB standards and CIRIA C753 SuDS Manual, plus technical support for designers and clash analysis using Navisworks.
