Key Responsibilities

  • •Report to the Site HSSE Manager and oversee HSSE performance during construction and commissioning.
  • •Extract and apply relevant HSSE policies and procedures for site construction works.
  • •Establish an effective HSSE system aligned with legal and other requirements (ISO, Wood, and Client).
  • •Ensure contractors’ supervision and manpower comply with the HSSE policy, site regulations, permit to work procedures, and client requirements.
  • •Develop, organize, and deliver HSSE training and maintain a workforce competency assurance and tracking system.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in public health (Occupational Health and Safety) or certification as a Professional Safety Officer by the Ministry of Labour.
  • •Minimum of 8 years’ substantial HSSE experience in live plant, greenfield, and turnaround/revamp work for oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, power plant, or similar facilities.
  • •Extensive knowledge applying site HSSE plans, worksite HSSE practices, and related procedures/standards.
  • •Strong capability preparing and reviewing risk assessments, method statements, Job Safety Analysis, and permit to work systems.
  • •Good understanding of HSSE reporting (monthly/weekly construction reports) and communication skills in English (verbal and written).
