Job Summary

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and distributed microservices in a brokerage/financial services environment. Build API automation tests for REST and SOAP services, validate serverless and event-driven workflows on AWS, and perform end-to-end and integration testing across asynchronous messaging and enterprise integrations. Work in Agile teams to triage defects, review code, and integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and distributed microservices using Selenium/Playwright with Java and Python.
•Develop and execute API automation tests for REST and SOAP services using REST Assured, Postman, or Karate.
•Validate serverless applications and event-driven workflows on AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, S3, and EventBridge.
•Perform end-to-end and integration testing across distributed microservices, asynchronous messaging systems, and enterprise integrations, including upstream systems and third-party vendors.
•Collaborate with developers, business analysts, DevOps, and product teams in Agile; participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, code reviews, defect triage, and release activities; integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of hands-on QA Automation experience, preferably in a brokerage or financial services environment.
•5+ years of strong brokerage domain knowledge (retirement and investment domain experience preferred).
•AWS Certification with hands-on cloud experience; 5+ years working with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, S3, and EventBridge.
•3+ years of automation programming experience using Java and Python.
•5+ years developing automation frameworks and API automation testing (Selenium and/or Playwright; REST/SOAP using REST Assured, Postman, or Karate), including contract-first API work with OpenAPI/Swagger.
