Job Summary

Own product planning for AI data and safety systems supporting Seed foundational models. Partner with technical teams to define data requirements for aligning large language models across global markets, develop data acquisition and production methodologies, and drive ongoing improvements in data quality and tool effectiveness. Assess cost, efficiency, and impact, while proactively identifying and mitigating biases and vulnerabilities through technical, product, and operational solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with technical teams to define data requirements for aligning large language models across global markets.
•Develop data acquisition and production methodologies while monitoring costs and assessing effectiveness and efficiency.
•Ensure data quality remains high and continuously improve processes using quantitative and qualitative feedback.
•Evaluate the impact of data production tools and work with technical teams to enhance tool quality and effectiveness, including identifying and mitigating biases and vulnerabilities.

Key Requirements

•Solid understanding of alignment approaches including Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) and Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), or experience in moderation, labeling, search quality, or data synthesis.
•At least two years of experience as a product manager or product strategist, including process design experience.
•Collaborate effectively and advocate for ideas without being overbearing.
•Strong interest in LLMs and human behavior/experience/wellbeing.
•Maintain strong attention to detail while staying focused on prioritized goals and the bigger picture.
