Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as lead technical contact for assigned customers and key accounts, supporting innovation, troubleshooting, and cost re-engineering to meet business growth targets.
  • •Plan and conduct complex bakery and fruit application trials involving formulation and process development or fine-tuning, including at customer sites when needed.
  • •Evaluate customer recipes, ingredients, and processes to diagnose issues and make recommendations based on food technology knowledge.
  • •Leverage cross-functional relationships to influence, drive, and prioritize technical and commercial projects aligned to strategy, including partnering with raw material and equipment stakeholders.
  • •Document technical work centrally, communicate project results internally and externally, and record customer activities and updates in the CRM system while evaluating customer and competitor portfolios.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree (or equivalent) in Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Strong experience in a Technical Service, NPD, or Applications team within specialty food ingredients.
  • •Knowledge of Bakery and Fruit Applications, including food ingredient interactions and food processing systems.
  • •Proven track record of delivering product innovation and technically supporting customers in the food industry.
  • •Advanced understanding of equipment and technologies to enable laboratory and pilot plant trials, plus proficiency in central knowledge management documentation.
