Job Summary

Lead execution of a common Electronics Assembly program, driving Ultra Blk 1 through transition to production and increasing production rates, and taking Ultra Blk 2 through development and production transition. Manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team to balance cost, schedule, performance, and risk across multiple adopting programs, while serving as the primary technical interface to align technical issues, risks, and customer needs. Drive strategy, technical integrity, and continuous improvement onsite in Tucson.

Key Responsibilities

•Establish and manage product vision, strategy, and goals across multiple programs/customers and facilitate conflict resolution.
•Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution across IPT and other functions to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
•Serve as the primary technical point of contact with senior customer counterparts and internal senior program management/engineering leadership.
•Plan and lead incremental break-in of upgrades and system improvements, supporting production environment change and continuous improvement activities.
•Direct a team of multi-disciplined engineers and provide technical advisory disposition for Export/Import (EXIM) compliance.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.
•Experience with system development and design, requirements development, verification, system integration and test, and production.
•Experience working on modular systems architectures and product lines.
•Experience as a technical leader who can develop work plans and drive execution.
•Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required, and U.S. citizenship is required.
