Key Responsibilities

  • •Procure and vet labour and material cost quotations to submit competitive pricing to management.
  • •After project award, prepare job summaries with labour, material, quantities, and quality strictly per client specifications.
  • •Assist the Estimating Manager to implement strategies and ensure professional, cost-effective estimating in coordination with the Quantity Surveying department.
  • •Finalize tender using CCS and prepare BOQs from drawings; price and submit for Estimating Manager approval.
  • •Prepare estimates for QS to obtain client/consultant approval for labour and material cost variations due to drawing changes, and help draft final pre-/post-completion cost reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying (QS).
  • •2-3 years of experience in a large construction/interior fit out company.
  • •Ability to procure and evaluate labour and material quotations and determine competitive costs.
  • •Experience preparing estimates and BOQs from drawings for review and approval.
  • •Experience supporting estimation processes with coordination with the Quantity Surveying department.
