Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as tax leader for SEA, providing oversight across direct tax, indirect tax, withholding tax, transfer pricing, and cross-border matters.
  • •Own end-to-end tax compliance and reporting across SEA, including CIT, GST/VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing, and incentive-related reporting.
  • •Lead SOX tax controls design, execution, documentation, and audit readiness, maintaining governance over tax data quality and controls.
  • •Manage tax audits, assessments, rulings, and appeals across SEA with external advisors, including building audit defense strategies.
  • •Direct and develop the team while improving tax processes, systems, and data flows through simplification, standardization, and automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related field.
  • •18+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally across Big 4 and in-house roles.
  • •Solid tax accounting and SOX/internal controls experience.
  • •Experience in manufacturing, technology, or supply-chain-intensive multinational environments.
  • •Proven leadership managing multi-country tax matters and teams, operating both strategically and hands-on.
