Key Responsibilities

  • •Order, receive, inspect, store, and issue hospital equipment, materials, and supplies for departments.
  • •Research cost, quality, and availability of goods; select vendors and make purchases within budget guidelines.
  • •Maintain storeroom cleanliness and manage storage layout decisions; rotate supplies to avoid expiry before use.
  • •Conduct inventory activities including weekly and semi-annual stock taking; manage redistribution actions and reconcile discrepancy reports.
  • •Supervise Storekeepers by training, directing work, evaluating performance, and providing work direction in the manager/supervisor’s absence.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)
  • •Previous storeroom supervision and/or employee leadership experience
  • •Good English spoken and written; Arabic advantageous
  • •Computer literate
  • •Ability to perform the essential functions of the role as outlined in the position description
