Job Summary

Responsible for the full lifecycle of crude accounting within Refined Products & Crude Operational Accounting, including contract review, tracking product movements, validating and processing third-party invoices, and supporting financial statement review. Collaborate with trading, scheduling, and treasury teams while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Prepare analyses and recommendations related to billing, capital expenditures, tax methods, forecasts, depreciations, derivatives disclosures, and regulatory reports. Assist with micro/mainframe finance program maintenance and provide guidance and training.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform studies and recommendations across finance, billing, accounting, capital expenditures, and taxation methods and procedures.
•Complete calculations/analyses such as budget forecasts, depreciation (book/tax), tax deferrals, financial ratios, billings and adjustments, and rate/tariff schedules.
•Assist in development and maintenance of micro and/or mainframe programs used for finance, gross reporting, invoicing, billing, and accounting activities.
•Compile, verify, and prepare financial information including forecasted vs. actual expenses, governmental/regulatory reports, financial reports, quarterly income statements, billing revenues, and reconciliations.
•Provide guidance, training, and coaching to employees, and support compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and regulatory requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 82,000 - 124,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with job-related experience.
•Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, company financial accounting, and/or billing methods.
•Experience with financial accounting and reporting standards, economic forecasting/modeling, and interpreting accounting policies.
•Experience analyzing studies and recommendations on the impact of standards, regulations, and legislation on company finances and accounting processes.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to present information to individuals and groups.
