Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems supporting mission-critical enterprise applications.
  • •Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and lifecycle maintenance while monitoring health, utilization, storage, logs, services, and performance.
  • •Troubleshoot Linux OS, application, storage, connectivity, authentication, and performance issues.
  • •Support Linux systems in VMware and other virtualized environments and support enterprise infrastructure management applications (e.g., Cisco ISE, ClearPass, RSA SecurID, LDAP, InfoBlox, and related platforms).
  • •Apply security patches and DISA STIG requirements; develop automation scripts and Ansible/GitLab configuration management; maintain documentation and participate in on-call support.

Key Requirements

  • •Active DoD Secret clearance or higher at time of hire.
  • •Bachelor’s degree, or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • •Current CompTIA Security+ CE (or equivalent) certification meeting applicable DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • •3 to 5 years of professional experience in Linux/system/infrastructure administration or enterprise application support, including at least 2 years hands-on Linux administration in a production environment.
  • •Troubleshooting experience across operating systems, applications, connectivity, and infrastructure; knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, and SNMP is preferred.
