Key Responsibilities

  • •Gather and analyze financial data, spread statements, and calculate credit metrics to assess creditworthiness and identify risks and mitigants.
  • •Model future financial performance, including downside scenarios, and prepare thorough credit underwriting documents for corporate clients.
  • •Lead and shepherd transactions through approval stages, including lending commitments, amendments, waivers, and consents, and make recommendations to credit executives.
  • •Ensure compliance with KYC and regulatory checks (including MCA/Patriot Act/OFAC) and certify beneficial ownership.
  • •Monitor portfolio accounts and ongoing performance to track covenant compliance, manage risk ratings, maintain data integrity, and identify potential problem accounts. (Occasional travel to include overnight stay.)

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of commercial underwriting, credit, banking and/or financial services experience.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in finance, accounting, economics and/or business; MBA preferred.
  • •Demonstrated expert-level ability to analyze financial statements and evaluate corporate creditworthiness using ratios and financial metrics.
  • •Expert-level decision-making to assess emerging and existing considerations and choose the best path in lending and business situations.
  • •Experience structuring covenants for syndicated debt facilities and understanding business and legal elements of credit agreements, including risk grading and documentation.
