Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Splunk Enterprise Platform administration, including onboarding and tuning, within a Log Data Management and Engineering function.
  • •Define standards for use and management of infrastructure components and guide decisions on upgrades, refreshes, and replacement.
  • •Lead or support incident response and troubleshooting in complex Splunk implementations across multiple domains.
  • •Drive continuous improvement across multi-functional domains, identifying anomalies and resolving issues before broader awareness.
  • •Mentor team members, provide feedback/coaching where others have management responsibility, and participate in interviews for new hires.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree (or equivalent education plus relevant experience) and 5+ years of total relevant work experience.
  • •Expert knowledge of Splunk Enterprise Platform administration, including onboarding and tuning; experience with Cribl and/or Splunk Cloud is required.
  • •Expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum using JIRA/Confluence (or equivalent).
  • •Expert knowledge of core infrastructure capabilities: AWS, Linux, networking, identity, and access.
  • •Expert knowledge of automation technologies including Ansible/AWX.
