Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor regulatory developments in the legislative and policy environment and advise on impact to Adyen.
  • •Represent the team across workstreams and drive the regulatory strategy.
  • •Operationalise regulatory requirements for Australia and New Zealand.
  • •Collaborate with internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters, including regulatory engagement, strategy, and product launches.
  • •Manage routine and ad hoc regulatory requests and filings for both Australia and New Zealand.

Key Requirements

  • •Be qualified as a lawyer in Australia.
  • •Have 5+ years of experience in a regulatory or legal role.
  • •Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • •Strong research, statutory interpretation, and organisational skills.
  • •Demonstrate the ability to conduct analysis of policy issues and have working knowledge of the payment industry, retail banking, acquiring, and finance.
