Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the technical point of contact for assigned Raptor parts and assemblies, solving emergent supplier challenges and mitigating high-impact manufacturing and quality risks.
  • •Own new product introduction by determining manufacturing methods, identifying and reviewing suppliers, and ramping parts to rate for new designs, drawing changes, or re-sourcing.
  • •Drive technical product improvements and engineering drawing updates to reduce defect opportunities and improve manufacturability, lead times, and cost.
  • •Review and resolve part issues to root cause, implement changes at suppliers and/or SpaceX, disposition issue tickets, and drive actions to closure including re-sourcing when needed.
  • •Lead containment activities and support supplier improvements by reviewing manufacturing processes and quality systems to meet aggressive takt times.
