Job Summary

Senior Solutions Architect for enterprise accounts responsible for guiding customers in adopting the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. Work with cross-functional teams (Solutions Architects, Account Executives, tech specialists) to design, position, and execute complex data analytics solutions, influence C-level stakeholders, coach account teams, and develop customer-facing collateral. Leverage Python/SQL and Spark, across AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, to drive multi-cloud adoption and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

•Engage with our largest and most complex customers to help them achieve their unified platform goals and drive adoption of the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
•Develop and execute customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives and Solutions Architects for designated accounts.
•Coach core account teams and peers on positioning, adoption strategies, and execution to achieve outcomes within defined timelines.
•Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
•Act as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks platform.

Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

•Technical background in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing or Machine Learning/AI
•Experience with coding in Python or SQL and willingness to learn Spark
•Hands-on experience with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google)
•Ability to engage in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence C-level executives
