Key Responsibilities

  • •Convert customer demand/requirements into production signals via SAP Production Plan aligned to plant goals (OTD, productivity, sales, DOH, past due).
  • •Follow MRP signals to create work orders on time to satisfy customer demand, safety stock, and production-line workflow.
  • •Create and deliver production plans and sequences to achieve OTD, sales, and productivity targets.
  • •Coordinate with product line supervisors/leaders and purchasing teams to ensure schedule attainment and recovery; monitor and report material shortages.
  • •Communicate with customer service to maintain an up-to-date backlog, follow up on work order status, investigate schedule-impact factors, and support escalations, supplier negotiations, NPI, and quality requirements (ISO, IATF) as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Administration.
  • •3+ years of experience in production planning in an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • •3+ years of MRP planning experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of SAP and Excel; APICS certification is preferred.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
