Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Lead multidisciplinary teams to tackle MSEN transmissions’ top technical issues and integrate gearbox designs, presenting key results to customers and executive leadership.
•Perform comprehensive design and analysis on aerospace hardware across varied gear types using automated tools, FEA, and hand calculations.
•Spearhead transmission root cause investigation teams, directing work and delivering findings to engineering leadership.
•Review team members’ work and provide hands-on guidance to accelerate proficiency and foster mentorship.
•Actively manage and integrate the complex technical requirements of external suppliers with design ownership, ensuring alignment across programs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; 10 years gear design/analysis experience, or advanced degree with 7 years gear design/analysis experience
•At least 3 years direct experience with complex Mechanical Systems hardware and gear design/manufacturing tools
•Strong communication, task coordination, and cross-functional leadership skills
•Proficiency in gear design tools and manufacturing processes (e.g., Gleason Works software, Siemens NX)
•Active U.S. security clearance is preferred or required for DoD-related program work
