Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with New Product Development teams to ensure integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements and supplier communications.
  • •Coordinate with New Product Introduction teams to involve suppliers in development and review of specifications for design for manufacturability.
  • •Investigate alternate manufacturing processes using project management skills and quality tools to improve cost, quality, and reliability.
  • •Support supplier selection to build a supply base with competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery, and technology.
  • •Assist in supplier technical audits, evaluate supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement, and lead quality problem resolutions with root-cause corrective actions.
