Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the department’s financial goals and support growth of its portfolio.
  • •Drive and lead market placement for property, casualty & marine, energy, construction, power & infrastructure portfolios.
  • •Review and strategize growth and penetration of existing and potential clients using effective sales and business plans.
  • •Establish and maintain partnerships with markets to secure best available terms, and maintain relationships with clients, markets, and Aon colleagues.
  • •Lead day-to-day broking operations: underwriting specifications, proposals, reports/presentations, operational KPIs, broking slips, billings, policy checking, and compliance with local regulations and best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in insurance or a relevant qualification.
  • •At least 15 years of working experience in the broking/insurance industry.
  • •Strong technical skills across general classes of insurance.
  • •Ability to develop and prepare underwriting specifications, proposals, and insurance summaries/slips.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
