Job Function: Data Science & Machine Learning

Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, architect, and build end-to-end full-stack AI products including data ingestion, feature pipelines, model training/inference, APIs, web UI, and observability.
  • •Develop front-ends and application layers connecting real-time sensor/robotics data to dashboards and decision-support tools.
  • •Integrate robotics platforms, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), tool automation, and control systems into smart manufacturing applications and the Micron smart manufacturing ecosystem.
  • •Create and validate digital twin environments for fab layouts, AMR fleets, and tool stations using simulation tools, and integrate these into AI workflows for anomaly detection, route optimization, and predictive maintenance.
  • •Containerize and deploy services as microservices across edge and cloud environments, manage GPU inference workloads, optimize performance/cost, and apply responsible AI practices including input validation and audit logging.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building and shipping production web or AI applications end to end, including full-stack delivery across teams.
  • •Strong Python skills and modern JavaScript/TypeScript experience, with scalability-focused system design.
  • •SQL fluency and hands-on experience designing AI/ML data ingestion and feature pipelines at scale.
  • •Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) plus Docker and Kubernetes, including CI/CD pipeline ownership.
  • •Working knowledge of LLM/GenAI (prompt engineering, function/tool calling, RAG, agentic patterns) and digital twin platforms; ROS/ROS 2 and robotics simulation experience is a plus.
