Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a professional role model to facilitate nursing student socialization and patient advocacy.
  • •Support daily operations of the learning lab, including assisting with lab supplies inventory and supply needs.
  • •Perform pre-simulation activities such as programming scenarios, setting up control rooms, props, moulage, learning materials, and recording in the management application.
  • •Run simulation activities by pre-briefing participants, operating simulation console/software, managing AV equipment, manipulating the simulator, and assisting with student safety.
  • •Perform post-simulation activities including debriefing equipment support, feedback for improving simulations, returning rooms to condition, managing non-consumable supplies, and ensuring recordings are available to faculty.
