Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop assigned TSSC engineers, managing day-to-day progress and engineering efforts.
  • •Responsible for development and deployment of modifications to training support devices, including writing, implementing, and supporting software applications/operating system changes.
  • •Coordinate implementation through test review and analysis, test witnessing, certification, and tracking certification discrepancies (CDs) tied to SIMCERT activities.
  • •Manage schedules, personnel, and labor/material expenditures; coordinate configuration management activities and ensure a safe, secure work environment.
  • •Work closely with CAE USA modification project managers, C-17 ATS instructors, and subject matter experts; chair Design Change Working Group (DCWG) and Test Plan Working Group with slide packages, agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in MIS, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or technical equivalent) with 5 years of simulation field experience.
  • •Extensive knowledge of the UNIX/LINUX environment (IRIX, Solaris) and programming languages (C/C++, FORTRAN, Ada) plus Windows NT applications.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
  • •Eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
  • •Technical writing, presentation skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision while supporting team efforts.
