Key Responsibilities

  • •Own product strategy and roadmap for APAC onboarding, KYC, and financial crime mitigation initiatives from discovery through delivery, launch, measurement, and iteration.
  • •Build and scale digital identity verification and eKYC experiences across APAC markets.
  • •Partner with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, and Risk & Compliance to balance conversion, customer experience, operational cost, regulatory requirements, and financial crime risk.
  • •Lead localization work, including integrating local identity providers, registry checks, and APAC-specific controls into Wise’s global platform.
  • •Improve onboarding outcomes (e.g., first adoption, verification completion, time-to-verify, manual review rates, cost-to-serve, and quality of fincrime decisions).

Key Requirements

  • •Significant product management experience in a finance/fintech, identity, onboarding, KYC, risk, compliance, fraud, trust & safety, or other regulated domain.
  • •8+ years in the workforce, ideally with 5+ years in product management or adjacent roles (or 3+ years in a senior product manager role if experience is outside product).
  • •Ship customer-facing products end-to-end, not just strategy.
  • •Define and use metrics; interrogate data and make trade-offs with SQL (or similar).
  • •Bring enough technical depth to collaborate with engineers on systems, integrations, reliability, observability, and platform design.
