Key Responsibilities

  • •Own continuity of supply for printed circuit boards (PCBs) and components on the Starshield program.
  • •Collaborate with design, R&D, commercial supply chain, hardware reliability, and production teams to manage suppliers and deliver products.
  • •Identify, audit, and onboard new suppliers; develop and implement supplier technical requirements and quality flow downs.
  • •Implement and monitor production part approval process (PPAP), ensure supplier qualification and reliability activities, and develop process controls for critical characteristics.
  • •Analyze supplier quality and delivery metrics, drive root cause failure analysis and corrective actions, and lead projects/present reports to internal teams, management, and suppliers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • •Experience with printed circuit boards (PCBs), engineering laminates, electrochemical processes, and/or microelectronics fabrication (including school projects, clubs, or internships).
  • •Working knowledge of supplier quality processes (PPAP, APQP, FAIR, RCCA failure analysis, lean methods) and quality systems (ISO 9000/TS/AS9100/NADCAP).
  • •Knowledge of statistical techniques such as SPC, design of experiments, and Six Sigma.
  • •Disciplined problem-solving approach (8D).
